Music-By-Mitch DJ Productions is an owner-operated DJ company based in Houston, Texas with the primary service area being the Greater Houston Metro area. Because Music-By-Mitch is a one-man operation, you know that you will be speaking to the very DJ who will be working your event when you contact me.

I have been working as a DJ since 1995. I started small, eventually got my break going to work for a DJ company for four years where I handled over 250 events for them. In 2005, I broke away and went out on my own; I started Music-By-Mitch in the Fall of 2006.

As long as I can remember, I always have had a love for music whether it was rock, country, jazz, big band, or R&B. Whenever I heard a song on the radio, I would want to know what is the name of the song and who is the artist performing it. That love and passion carries over into my DJ work and I always strive to give my clients my best effort.

As a DJ, I am not one who talks constantly and is always trying to "pump up the crowd". Instead, I serve as your emcee, I keep the event moving, I make the necessary announcements, and, of course, I play a great mix of music. If this is what you desire, then I am your DJ!

It is not my wish to be the star of the show, after all, it is YOUR DAY. I do make the important announcements that help keep your wedding reception or party on track but I do keep my talking to a minimum. I prefer to be known for that I keep the music going and play some great songs. You will never hear a song completely fade out or have a break between songs. I am here to make sure you and your guests have a great time.

I take great pride in the fact that I handle each and every event with the utmost professionalism as if the event were my own.
